Change Is Not Required
You hear me saying this over and over in my writing, my conversations, and as part of my guidance on my “Meditations from Heaven” CD. I can’t stress enough that you are perfect just the way you are. Once we realize our essence of truth we no longer need the masks.
Masks need to be changed, depending who you are with, the situation, and what you feel is not good enough to share with others. Take off the mask. Show yourself for who you truly are. Take this step and change begins to happen around you. There is no doubt your moods will be different, your choices altered, your actions more in line with your beliefs, and your beliefs will suddenly not be as they were yesterday. And .... Yes this is change.
But, instead of you trying to change, changes occur naturally and reflectively. Stress, self-doubt and failure can be removed from the equation. Instead of trying to meet someone else’s expectation of you, learn to set your own beliefs and standards.
Think of someone you admire. Consider the qualities that draw you to that person. Are they mirroring your true essence? Quite likely they are.
Make a list of beliefs that you follow. Do they reflect your truth? Do they empower you to take responsibility for your goals and dreams? List those that leave you feeling “less than”, guilty, or steal away your confidence. Can you let them go? If not - why not?
Next look at your list of beliefs and choose which you believe are your core beliefs. Are they yours or someone else’s? Do they support your idea of the life you want? Do they support a life that inspires? Do they support the attitude of “without harm” or malice? Sort through this list, deleting what does not serve your higher purpose, rethinking those that seem to fit, and fully accepting and living by the others. Really think about what you do believe and why.
Are your actions and words harmful to others? If so why do you continue to live in that space? What can you begin to do to let go of those hurtful thoughts and actions?
The only rules for living a full, satisfying life are treating others as you would like to be treated, being honest with yourself and others, never harming another or yourself, and giving your best in everything you do.
Instead of thinking about change, think more in terms of letting go and bringing toward you. Make room for the Universe to help release and create. See every step you take as successful. Check in to see how you are feeling, and ask what needs to be adjusted to bring joy, peace, love and balance into your thoughts, words and actions.
There is plenty of nonjudgmental help available to you. So stop trying to change and start allowing life to flow over you and through you. make each moment, one of value as you move closer to the life you envision.
Live with Love. Share Love. Accept Love.
These steps and gratitude will surely bring success.
